The last day of the TUC Congress has seen the election of Liz Snape as the next President for the forthcoming year. The TUC have released a press announcement which can be found HERE The release ends with the following: ‘Liz lives in London with her partner and two daughters and is a huge Arsenal fan’. For those who do not know who Liz’s partner is, it is Dave Prentice, General Secretary of UNISON. Liz Snape has a long list of trade union credentials to her name, perhaps the most significant being Assistant General Secretary of UNISON.
